Symbian/Cabir Strikes!
Cabir is a computer worm that spreads via SMS.
It can attack and replicate on the Series 60 phones that have Bluetooth. It exploits the Object Push Profile, which is available on other (non-Symbian) devices. Printers, other Phones & desktops support OPP.
Fortunately, installing this worm involves accepting a prompt approving a file-transfer and installation of the executable itself.
Worms will someday hit Apple's OS, Linux and other Unicese are not without their vulnerabilities, though they are lower profile and more secure in general than the likes of Microsoft Windows.
